Held in the Threshold

Real support for women making—and living with—high-stakes decisions about solo motherhood and everything that comes with it.

You’re trying to make decisions that don’t have clean answers.
And the timeline? It’s not exactly forgiving.

You don’t have to figure it out alone—
or only from your head.

You’re not confused because you’re incapable.

You’re stuck because this is actually complicated.

You might be:

  • trying to decide if you should have a child on your own—and knowing that waiting has real consequences

  • in the middle of IUI or IVF, timing, and logistics that feel like a second full-time job

  • already parenting solo and constantly making high-impact decisions with no one to share the load

  • navigating your next big move—career, dating, school decisions—and feeling the weight of getting it “right”

You’ve probably done what you always do:

  • researched everything

  • thought it through from every angle

  • tried to find the “smart” or “right” decision

And still…

You’re up at night running scenarios.
You want to talk it through more than anyone in your life has capacity for.
You feel the pressure of time, biology, money, and responsibility—all at once.

And underneath it is a quieter, sharper fear:

What if I make the wrong call—and I can’t undo it?

And also:

What if I already know… and I just don’t trust myself enough to act on it?

What if you could move forward without spinning in circles?

Not because the decision is easy—
but because you are clear.

Not just logically clear—
but settled in your body.

Imagine:

  • making decisions you can actually stand behind (even the hard ones)

  • not needing 47 tabs open in your brain at all times

  • knowing when to act—and when to wait—without second-guessing yourself to death

  • being able to hear your own inner “yes” or “not yet”—and trust it

This isn’t about getting it perfect.

It’s about becoming someone who can:

  • make high-stakes decisions

  • live with them

  • and stay connected to herself—even when things are uncertain

I’m not coming at this from theory.

In my early 40s, my life blew up and re-formed all at once— my already late-in-life marriage ended I decided to have kids on my own, went through IVF, moved across the country, hit the term limit at a job I loved, and became a solo parent… basically at the same time.

There was no clean plan.

There were a lot of decisions with incomplete information.
A lot of moments where I had to act before I felt fully ready.
And a lot of pressure to hold it all together.

There were a lot of decisions with incomplete information.

A lot of moments where I had to act before I felt fully ready.
And a lot of pressure to hold it all together.

I’m a practical person. I think things through. I plan.

And this still pushed me past the point where thinking alone could solve it.

What actually helped was learning how to:

  • stop spinning and make a call

  • listen to my own intuition (not just my analysis)

  • regulate my nervous system when everything felt like too much

  • and get support that could actually meet me where I was

And along the way, I also learned this:

There is a kind of knowing that doesn’t come from more research.

It shows up when you slow down enough to hear yourself—
and when you’re supported enough to trust what you hear.

Professionally, I’ve spent years as a coach, facilitator, and leadership developer. I know how to guide people through complexity.

Personally, I’ve lived this. I am still living this!

And I bring both into this work—along with deeper healing modalities like Akashic work when it’s useful, not as a replacement for real-life decision-making, but as a way to access insight you might not reach on your own.

While I don’t have your answers…

I help you find your way through—in a way that’s grounded, supported, and true to you.

This work meets you wherever you are—

This isn’t a rigid program. It’s targeted support for what you’re actually dealing with.

We focus on three things:

Getting clear

(without overthinking yourself into paralysis)

  • Create space to hear yourself again

  • Untangle fear, pressure, and overthinking

  • Release old patterns that are holding you back

  • Reconnect with what’s true for you

Handling the loaD

(because this is a lot)

  • Work with your nervous system so you’re not constantly fried

  • Get out of constant mental loops

  • Process the emotions that show up (yes, even the messy ones)

  • Have tools to come back to yourself when everything feels loud

Integration & Support

  • Strengthen your sense of self beyond any single role

  • Navigate what comes after a decision

  • Build support that feels doable in the moment

(I mean, this has to work on a Tuesday night, not just during “self care” time!)

Held in the Threshold

THis is for you if:

  • you’re trying to decide whether to move forward—and feel the pressure of time

  • you’re in the process and want someone who can actually go deep with you

  • you’re already parenting and carrying the full weight of decision-making

Inside, you get:

  • eight 1:1 sessions focused on what’s actually happening in your life

  • space to think out loud—fully, without editing yourself

  • tools to calm your system when things spike

  • support making and living with hard decisions

  • optional deeper healing work when it’s helpful

You don’t have to leave your intuition at the door.
And you don’t have to pretend everything makes sense yet.

We work with both.

is a four month 1:1 coaching and emotional support program for women dealing with high-stakes decisions and realities around solo motherhood.

But the cost often looks like:

  • dragging it out longer than you need to

  • making choices from pressure instead of clarity

  • burning out before you even get where you’re going

  • or constantly second-guessing yourself after the fact

And with some of these decisions—especially around fertility—
time isn’t neutral.

Doing nothing is still a decision.

And ignoring what you already sense…
has a cost, too.

You can keep trying to think your way through this alone.

You probably will make a decision eventually.

The first session did more than 20 years of therapy has.
Working with and doing Akashic consultations with Joayne has been mind blowingly supportive for all aspects of my life.
Wow, that was amazing! Now I want to ask you about all my children.
My nervous system felt like it took a huge exhale.
Joayne was truly extraordinary. Accessing my personal Akashic Records was so insightful — it helped me uncover and release old patterns and replace them with something better, something I actually desire to BE more of.
I have worked with both executive business coaches and therapists; Joayne’s approach was more holistic. I think I can compartmentalize, but often the same patterns and challenges show up in my personal and professional lives and across relationships.

You don’t need to be 100% sure to talk this through.

If you’re in it—
the decision, the process, or the reality—

we can slow it down just enough to hear what’s actually true for you,
and get you moving again from a place that feels solid.

Schedule a consultation.

Let’s talk about what you're navigating.

I know we can find your way through.
